Orthodontics (orthodontie)

Orthodontists are available in the Netherlands for children and adults.  Extra coverage is usually necessary for this to be covered by your insurer.

If you or a family member is arriving in Netherlands with orthodontic appliances already in place, some research will be necessary to determine which orthodontist can continue the care here, as there are various types of orthodontic systems and equipment, and not all practitioners use all of them.
